Better Breathers’ Club is a support group for people with any chronic lung disease including COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, and pulmonary fibrosis. You are invited to attend and bring along family, friends, and caregivers.

The heart of our program is people helping people. As you listen to guest speakers and share experiences with other members, you will gain further insight into your lung condition. We believe that by staying-up to date on new topics in respiratory care and continuing social interaction and support, a person with chronic lung disease are motivated to manage their illness and empowered to maintain a good quality of life.

Education is a big part of our meetings. There are many aspects to better living with lung disease; medication is an obvious approach, but breathing techniques, exercise, respiratory equipment, nutrition, relaxation techniques, psychology, afid prevention and early detection of lung infections, are also vital to the health of the person with lung issues. There are many meetings throughout the year covering many different topics.

If you have any questions, please call Traci Troxell at (805) 630-8024.

We look forward to seeing you at our meetings!
